July 22, 2014, Albany, N.Y. – Representatives from Leonard Bus Sales met with school district officials from across New York State at the New York Association of Pupil Transportation’s annual convention last week. The event, held at the Albany Marriot on Wolf Road and featuring a trade show on Monday, July 14, gave school district personnel a chance to learn more about the advances in clean diesel, and also about the buses carried by Leonard Bus Sales, including the only school bus manufactured in New York State — the Type-A bus by Trans Tech.

On the floor of the conference’s trade show, attendees could visit the Leonard Bus Sales’ display booth to learn more about today’s clean diesel buses, which are 95% cleaner than the buses of just 10 years ago. Now, with the addition of the Cummins ISB 6.7-Liter engine to the choices available in the IC Bus brand CE Series, Leonard Bus Sales truly has the broadest clean diesel line-up in the industry.
Attendees also got to find out more about the toughness of Trans Tech Type-A buses, which are built with a bolted safety cage shell around the passengers and pan-formed floors that provide big-bus strength. And, school district personnel were also able to see why Leonard Bus Sales has received so many awards for its customer support.
