Abigail Whipple of Chautauqua Lake Central School Awarded $1,000 National Honor Society Scholarship Sponsored by Leonard Bus Sales

May 2, 2016, Deposit, N.Y. – Leonard Bus Sales announced today that the company presented Abigail Whipple of Chautauqua Lake Central School with a $1,000 National Honor Society Scholarship during the Chautauqua Lake Honor Society’s inaugural banquet on April 18th in Mayville, NY.

Leonard Bus Sales Transportation Advisor, Dave Rindo, from the Bergen customer support facility was on-hand to present the scholarship to Abigail during the inaugural banquet.

Abigail is a senior at Chautauqua Lake Central School and member of the National Honor Society. She was awarded the scholarship sponsored by Leonard Bus Sales due to her outstanding academic achievements, community involvement, and good standing in the National Honor Society.

Abigail lives in Mayville, NY with her parents, Gary and Lee Whipple. She is active in the Spanish and French Club, Student Administration, and a member of the school’s yearbook staff. Abigail has also won the Student of the Month award from the Westfield-Mayville Rotary Club and was named to the Dean’s List at Jamestown Community College for her part-time studies.

The event, which was held at the Chautauqua Suites Meeting & Expo Center in Mayville, brought together nearly 150 National Honor Society student members from eleven different high schools throughout the area for an evening of recognition, celebration and networking.
