IC Corporation unveiled its new 2005 CE series school bus at the show, and we were joined by a few friends from New York State.

Advisory Panel Meets at LBS Deposit Facility
In November, the New York State School Bus Advisory Panel convened in Deposit for an interactive and informative meeting on future technologies under consideration for school bus applications. Technical experts from General Electric, International, and IC Corporation were on hand to present and demonstrate digital video technology, child tracking capabilities, “black box” data recording equipment, exterior child detection systems, and internet-based data collection, i.e., telematics. Attendees also had the opportunity to ride, drive, and evaluate the new 2005 IC Corporation CE conventional school bus, and were able to see first-hand many of the new and innovative features offered on the new product. Panel members also participated in “focus group” exercises which resulted in product enhancement suggestions for future school bus models. Planning for 2004 is underway, and the panel has high expectations for continued progress on current and future industry issues.

LBS Holds Open House in Deposit & Mechanicville Locations
Leonard Bus Sales' Open House and Customer Appreciation Day was a big success at both locations. The combination of good people and good food made for a great day, and Mother Nature was on our side in the weather department.
