LBS Delivers Twenty-Two New IC CE Buses to East Irondequoit CSD

Leonard Bus Sales is pleased to have partnered with the East Irondequoit Central School District in providing twenty-two new IC CE buses to begin the 2009-2010 school year.

The delivery was conducted the morning of August 28, 2009. The East Irondequoit C.S. transportation staff teamed up with the Leonard Bus Sales staff in Bergen NY to roll out all 22 buses at 9:00 am that morning. The buses were driven to the district and staged for a 10 am parade into the East Ridge High School, where the new arrivals were greeted by students, parents, community members and district staff. The event was coupled with the annual kindergarten orientation events, and rides were given to young students. These 22 new buses constitute the largest single delivery in the history of our Bergen facility. The buses, comprised of four 72-passenger and eighteen 66-passenger buses, were equipped with digital 24/7 camera systems, Espar fuel fired engine pre-heaters, two way radios, and underbody luggage compartments.
