Business as Usual for LBS Customers in 2010

To prove this point, LBS displayed an IC CE bus using a 2010 emission compliant engine at the 2009 NYAPT Summer Conference. To date, other manufacturers of Type C & D buses have yet to display a complete bus with their technology needed to comply with the upcoming emission standards. IC stands alone with its In-Cylinder Enhanced EGR solution in 2010. It will be business as usual for IC and LBS customers. There will be no radical equipment changes. Operating and maintenance procedures will be the same as they have been. There won’t be any incremental NOx after-treatment on any bus in 2010 beyond what has been so successful in 2007. EGR will be the customer-focused, customer-preferred emissions solution because it’s the proven technology that customers already understand, know is easily serviced and use transparently in their operations.
