NYS School Bus Advisory Panel Meets
December 2006 - Leonard Bus hosted the NYS School Bus Advisory Panel at the Saratoga Springs Marriott on December 12th & 13th. An overview of the low floor concept bus was given by Randy Ray, IC Corporation, along with a presentation by John Dexter, Enova Systems, on the hybrid bus. Present panel were in attendance, along with some past panel members. The meeting concluded with a ride and drive opportunity, followed by an "under the hood" look at the HEV bus at the Saratoga City School Transportation Center. The next meeting will be held in April 2007.
June 2006 - LBS hosted the New York State School Bus Advisory Panel at the Saratoga Springs Courtyard by Marriott on June 6th & 7th. The agenda included presentations on 2007 Engines by David Corba, International Truck & Engine, ULSF by Steven Levy, Sprague Energy, Lube Oils by Gabe Giordano, Conoco-Phillips, and Fuel Treatments by Martin Lamon, B & L Distributors.
March 2006 - Leonard Bus Sales hosted the New York State School Bus Advisory Panel at the Craftsman Inn in Fayetteville, NY on March 14th & 15th. New members David Christopher (Shenendehowa CSD) and Bill Crosson (Wappingers CSD) were welcomed by the group. The agenda included presentations on 2007 Emissions / Fuel by John Macaluso, MD Fleet Overview by Joe Doyle, Engine Updates by Jim Hogan, Carwell Corrosion Control by Dave VanDeBogart, and International Aware™ Vehicle Intelligence System by Kyle Howard.
