September 30, 2014, Middletown, N.Y. – Local community and business leaders gathered today for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that officially opened the new Leonard Bus Sales Service Support Center in Middletown, N.Y. Located in the center of Orange County, the new facility brings Leonard Bus Sales’ award-winning customer support directly to school districts and transportation partners in the Hudson Valley.
“This new Service Support Center will help us more quickly and efficiently serve our many transportation partners in the Hudson Valley,” said Leonard Bus Sales CEO Mike Leonard. “We take great pride in the support we give our customers and in being their partners and trusted advisors. Having a brick and mortar location closer to our Hudson Valley customers will help us do that even better.”
Located at 795 Route 17M in Middletown, the new facility will address the service and support needs of school district partners in Orange, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, Putnam and Rockland Counties.
The fully-outfitted 8800 Square Foot facility, complete with four service bays and six drive-in doors, will house four new full-time technicians and parts specialists capable of supporting all make and model school buses. The 4.4 acre gated property will also offer secure outdoor parking for approximately 100 Type A buses and 25 Type C buses.
