Leonard Bus Sales Congratulates Saratoga Springs Transportation Director Cheryl Dalton on Winning Prestigious NYAPT Award

Each year, NYAPT selects one pupil transportation management professional in New York State for this award who has been an effective leader in the industry and a successful proponent of school bus safety. The Art Schock Award is the highest honor NYAPT bestows.

Ms. Dalton has worked in school transportation for a quarter of a century. She has served her local NYAPT chapter in many roles, including president, and earned many certifications, including that of 19-A Examiner, School Bus Driver Instructor, and NYAPT Certified Director of Pupil Transportation. In her tenure, she has gained a reputation as tireless leader and a champion of school bus safety. As the recipient of the 33rd Art Schock Award, Ms. Dalton joins a prestigious group of honorees that represents the best and brightest of the state’s school transportation community.
