Lancaster Central School District Receives 8 Clean Diesel IC Bus Brand Buses from Leonard Bus Sales

September 10, 2013, Deposit, N.Y. – In recent days, Leonard Bus Sales delivered 8 new, clean diesel IC Bus brand buses to the Lancaster Central School District in Western New York.  The district used the influx of new, more efficient buses to retire 10 aging buses from their fleet.

“At Leonard Bus Sales, our fleet management experts know that the most affordable way to improve the fuel efficiency of a bus fleet is to replace older buses with newer, cleaner-running diesel buses,” said Leonard Bus Sales General Manager Frank Continetti. “We are pleased to work with Lancaster School District to deliver these new, clean diesel buses, and to help improve the efficiency of their entire fleet. We look forward to working together in the years ahead to keep these buses and this fleet running as clean, efficient, and safe as possible.”

Today’s clean diesel buses are 20 times cleaner than the diesel buses of just ten years ago.  By replacing these older buses, the Lancaster Central School District will vastly improve its fleets overall efficiency. And, with these new buses comes the award-winning support Leonard Bus Sales is known for throughout the industry, including service, parts, training and complimentary fleet management advice.
