Trans Tech Unveils Highly Anticipated Trans Star School Bus at 42nd Annual NAPT Summit

Deposit, NY – Trans Tech unveiled the newest edition to its industry-leading Type-A school bus line up at the 42nd Annual National Association for Pupil Transportation in November.  The Trans Star, which will be hitting the streets in 2017, is a beautifully engineered 20-passenger, dual-rear-wheel school bus that exhibits Trans Tech’s signature aerodynamic design.

“There was definitely excitement at NAPT this year as folks got a chance to see the new Trans Star from Trans Tech, said Leonard Bus Sales VP, Jon Leonard.  “It is a great school bus, built by New York’s only school bus manufacturer, and we already have orders for 2017.”

“The entire company is proud that we were able to unveil our highly anticipated Trans Star at NAPT, said company President, John Phraner.  “We put our heart and soul into designing and engineering this school bus to exceed customer and market expectations.”

From the moment NAPT attendees saw the signature aerodynamic design of the Trans Star, they knew they are looking at a Trans Tech school bus.  Trans Star is built on the heralded Ford Transit chassis and is engineered with all the same customer-inspired innovations that make Trans Tech school buses the safest, most efficient, and toughest on the road.

Customers ordering the Trans Star are excited not only for its industry-leading safety features, such as Trans Tech’s heavy-duty pan-formed floors, but also for its unparalleled fuel efficiency that is propelled by Trans Tech signature aerodynamic design and engineering.

“I think the industry will be quite impressed with the Trans Star.  It is a bus driver’s bus that is easy to operate and extremely versatile, said Phraner.  “The Trans Star comes with our proprietary Versa-Track seating, is engineered to be mechanic-friendly, and honestly, is the best-looking school bus on the market that is built on the Ford Transit chassis.”
