May 4, 2016, Deposit, NY – Leonard Bus Sales announced that they have launched a new fleet of parts delivery vehicles and hired a number of new professionals to broaden their parts capabilities and bring even greater customer support to our school transportation partners.
“Leonard Bus Sales already had a strong parts delivery and support program in place, but we felt there was even more we could do to enhance customer experience and that is why we invested in four new Ford Transit vans and hired additional support professionals,” said Director of Fixed Operations, Rob Stiteler.
The four new Ford Transit vans are in operation and have been modified with various options to make the parts delivery process as efficient as possible. Additional vehicles on the road, means school transportation partners will get their parts and the support they need even quicker.

“By adding additional parts delivery vehicles and professionals we will enhance customer experience by getting parts to our school transportation partners even quicker than before and also help reduce vehicle downtime,” said Stiteler.
The newly dedicated parts delivery drivers allow our parts advisors to focus their attention on the parts needs of our customers. Our parts advisors will now be able to spend more time helping our school transportation partners be more efficient by better planning their parts purchases and inventory.
In addition to the new parts delivery drivers, Leonard Bus Sales recently enhanced its parts and support capabilities by adding a number of new positions. Some of these positions include the newly formed outside parts manager position, a parts manager and service manager at the Bergen facility, multiple parts advisors and specialists, additional service technicians at each support facility, a warranty administrator in Rome, and transportation advisors in Bergen and Rome.
Stiteler concluded, “Leonard Bus Sales is committed to making it easy for our school transportation partners; adding new customer support professionals and parts delivery vehicles are just a few of the things that we are doing to ensure that happens.”
