NEW BUS PREP TECHNICIAN LEVEL 1
Position Purpose:
The New Bus Prep Technician is vital in maintaining an on-time delivery schedule and high overall DOT rating. The New Bus Prep Technician ensures that the sales division consistently maintains a high level of customer satisfaction and customer retention. This position is crucial to achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction by performing duties in accordance with current OEM practices and our company’s policies and procedures. Basic knowledge of air and hydraulic brake systems on medium duty chassis. Basic knowledge of diesel engines, drivelines, and school bus bodies: some electrical knowledge helpful. Own tools preferred.
Accountabilities: This position is responsible for –
• Examine buses to determine malfunctions and repairs needed.
• Perform basic mechanical work and service as needed on buses.
• Prepare buses for NYS DOT inspection and customer use.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Ensuring the proper use, care and storage of all tools.
• Document and notify supervisors of vehicles in need of repairs.
Saratoga Springs, NY: The following position is currently available for a highly motivated, team-oriented individual at our Saratoga Springs, NY facility:
Outside Parts Delivery Driver - Part Time – Responsible for promoting and conducting school bus parts deliveries to customers; operating a company-owned parts vehicle, making deliveries at customer facilities based on a phone in order, maintaining relationships and securing opportunities to fulfill customer’s parts requirements. Previous experience with motor vehicle/school bus body and chassis parts is preferred. Valid driver license is required. Successful candidate must be a customer-oriented team player with excellent communication skills, and able to work independently.

SERVICE TECHNICIAN/MECHANIC – Full Time. Experience a plus in the following categories for repair of Navistar/International diesel engines, air conditioning, chassis, and air brake systems, including ABS. Knowledge of Windows-based diagnostic software and a Class A or B CDL license beneficial. Own tools required. Team player, good communication skills and customer oriented. Must be willing to work some overtime and some Saturdays. Wages depend on experience and qualifications.
